This policy explains what information AdSaloon collects, why, and how it's used. We try to keep this in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, used to sign you in (via a one-time code — we never store a password).
- Business information you provide: the business name, industry, description, tone, and platform you enter to generate an ad.
- Generated content: the ad copy and images AdSaloon creates for you, saved to your account so you can view your history.
- Billing information: if you subscribe, our payment partner collects your payment details directly — AdSaloon never sees or stores your full card number.
2. How we use this information
We use it to operate the Service: generating your ads, keeping you signed in, showing your ad history, and processing your subscription if you have one. We don't sell your information to third parties.
3. Third parties involved in providing the Service
- AI generation: the business details you enter are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) to generate your ad copy.
- Hosting: AdSaloon is built and hosted on Hatchable.
- Payments: subscription billing is handled by our payment partner, who collects and processes your card details directly under their own privacy and security practices.
4. Data retention
We keep your account and generated ad history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated data, other than what we're required to retain for billing or legal purposes.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Children's privacy
AdSaloon is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including secure hosting and never storing raw payment card details ourselves. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
